Terms Guidelines & Standards
1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Hekma Academy. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Hekma Academy (“we,” “our,” or “us”), governing your access to and use of our online education and training platform at hekma-academy.com (the “Platform”).
By creating an account, browsing, or using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the Egyptian Civil Code and applicable e-commerce legislation.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

| Course | A specific educational program or training offering available for enrollment on the Platform, consisting of one or more lessons and/or modules. |
| Services | All services provided by Hekma Academy through the Platform, including course delivery, account management, payment processing, and customer support. |
| Account | A registered user profile created on the Platform with unique login credentials (email and password). |
3. Account Registration
To access certain features and enroll in courses, you must create an account on Hekma Academy:
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated at all times.
- Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- One Account Per Person: Each individual may create only one account. Multiple accounts for the same person are prohibited.
- Notification of Unauthorized Use: You must immediately notify Hekma Academy at info@hekma-academy.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
- Account Verification: Hekma Academy reserves the right to verify the identity and accuracy of any user account information.
4. Account Sharing — Strictly Prohibited
🚫 CRITICAL: Account Sharing Is NOT Permitted
Sharing your Hekma Academy account credentials with any other person is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
The following rules apply to account usage:
- Single-User Access Only: Each Hekma Academy account is licensed for use by a single individual only. The registered account holder is the sole authorized user.
- No Credential Sharing: You may not share, distribute, or disclose your username, password, or any other login credentials with any other individual, whether for free or for payment.
- No Simultaneous Access: Accessing the same account from multiple devices simultaneously by different individuals is prohibited.
- Organizational Accounts: If you wish to provide access for multiple team members or students, please contact us at info@hekma-academy.com to discuss our organizational licensing options.
⚠ Consequences of Account Sharing
If Hekma Academy detects or has reasonable grounds to believe that account sharing is occurring:
- The account may be immediately suspended or permanently terminated without prior notice.
- No refund will be provided for any courses or services associated with a terminated account.
- Access to all purchased content, progress data, and certificates may be revoked.
- Hekma Academy reserves the right to pursue legal action for damages resulting from unauthorized sharing.
Hekma Academy may employ technical measures, including but not limited to IP address monitoring, device fingerprinting, and login pattern analysis, to detect and prevent unauthorized account sharing.
5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property on the Hekma Academy Platform is owned by Hekma Academy and/or its content creators and is protected under Egyptian Intellectual Property Law No. 82 of 2002 and applicable international treaties.
5.1. Ownership
The following are the exclusive intellectual property of Hekma Academy:
- All course content, including video lectures, audio recordings, and presentations
- Written materials, including textual content, articles, guides, and PDF documents
- Graphic designs, illustrations, images, and visual assets
- Platform design, layout, user interface, and source code
- Brand name, logos, trademarks, and trade dress
- Assessment questions, quizzes, and examination materials
- Any other original works created by or on behalf of Hekma Academy
5.2. Limited License
Upon purchasing a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the course content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only, subject to the access duration outlined in our Shipping & Service Duration Policy.
5.3. Prohibited Actions
🚨 The Following Actions Are Strictly Prohibited
- Copying: Reproducing course content in any form or medium
- Distributing: Sharing course materials with any third party
- Recording: Screen recording, audio recording, or capturing video or audio content
- Screenshotting for Distribution: Taking screenshots of course materials for the purpose of sharing with others
- Downloading Unauthorized Content: Downloading content that is not explicitly provided as downloadable
- Reselling: Selling, licensing, or commercially exploiting course content
- Derivative Works: Creating derivative works based on Hekma Academy content without express written permission
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Platform
5.4. Enforcement
Violations of intellectual property rights may result in:
- Immediate termination of your account without refund
- Civil legal action for damages, including actual damages and lost profits
- Criminal prosecution under Egyptian Intellectual Property Law No. 82 of 2002
- Takedown requests under applicable copyright laws
6. Age Policy — No Restrictions
🎓 Open to All Ages
Hekma Academy does not impose any age restrictions. Our platform is open to learners of all ages who wish to benefit from our educational content.
- Inclusive Access: There is no minimum or maximum age requirement to register for or use Hekma Academy.
- Parental Supervision: We recommend that minors (individuals under the age of 18) use the Platform under the supervision and guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
- Parental Responsibility: Parents or legal guardians are responsible for:
- Monitoring their minor’s use of the Platform
- Any purchases made by a minor using their payment information
- The accuracy of registration information provided by a minor
- Ensuring the content is appropriate for the minor’s age and maturity level
- Parental Consent: By allowing a minor to use Hekma Academy, the parent or guardian consents to these Terms on behalf of the minor.
7. User Obligations
As a user of Hekma Academy, you agree to:
- Use the Platform Lawfully: Use the Platform only for its intended purpose — personal education and training — and in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Respect Other Users: Refrain from any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, or offensive behavior toward other users, instructors, or staff.
- Academic Integrity: Complete assessments and assignments honestly. Cheating, plagiarism, or submission of another person’s work is prohibited.
- No Harmful Content: Refrain from uploading, posting, or transmitting any content that is malicious, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- No Disruption: Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Platform’s functionality, security, or performance.
- Accurate Information: Ensure all information provided to Hekma Academy is accurate and truthful.
8. Payment Terms
- Payment Processor: All payments are processed securely through Paymob, our authorized third-party payment gateway.
- Currency: Prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated.
- Pricing: All prices are displayed on the course page at the time of purchase. Hekma Academy reserves the right to modify pricing at any time; however, changes will not affect previously completed purchases.
- Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes and fees as required by Egyptian law. Any such charges will be disclosed at checkout.
- Payment Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation with your transaction details.
- Refunds: Refunds are processed in accordance with our Refund & Exchange Policy.
9. Course Enrollment
When you enroll in a course on Hekma Academy:
- You are purchasing a limited, personal license to access the course content for the duration specified in our Shipping & Service Duration Policy (maximum 1 year).
- Enrollment is non-transferable — you may not transfer your enrollment to another person.
- Access is delivered instantly upon payment confirmation, as described in our Shipping & Service Duration Policy.
- Hekma Academy reserves the right to update, modify, or restructure course content to maintain educational quality and relevance.
- Completion of a course does not guarantee professional certification, employment, or specific outcomes unless explicitly stated in the course description.
10. Limitation of Liability
When you enroll in a course on Hekma Academy:
- You are purchasing a limited, personal license to access the course content for the duration specified in our Shipping & Service Duration Policy (maximum 1 year).
- Enrollment is non-transferable — you may not transfer your enrollment to another person.
- Access is delivered instantly upon payment confirmation, as described in our Shipping & Service Duration Policy.
- Hekma Academy reserves the right to update, modify, or restructure course content to maintain educational quality and relevance.
- Completion of a course does not guarantee professional certification, employment, or specific outcomes unless explicitly stated in the course description.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Platform and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
- Hekma Academy does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Educational content is provided for informational and learning purposes only and is not a substitute for professional certification, licensing, or expert advice unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, career advancement, or professional results from completing our courses.
12. Termination
Hekma Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, in the following circumstances:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms
- Account sharing or unauthorized credential distribution
- Intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use of content
- Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities
- Harassment or abuse of other users, instructors, or staff
- Non-payment or payment fraud
- At Hekma Academy’s sole discretion, for any reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform and all purchased content will cease immediately. Hekma Academy is under no obligation to provide a refund for any remaining unused access period in cases of termination due to Terms violation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including but not limited to:
- The Egyptian Civil Code (Law No. 131 of 1948, as amended)
- The Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018)
- The Egyptian Intellectual Property Law (Law No. 82 of 2002)
- The Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020)
- The Egyptian E-Commerce and Electronic Transactions Law (Law No. 175 of 2018)
The competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform:
- Amicable Resolution (First Step): Both parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through direct negotiation. Please contact us at info@hekma-academy.com to initiate this process.
- Mediation (Second Step): If the dispute cannot be resolved through direct negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may propose mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator.
- Litigation (Final Step): If the dispute remains unresolved after mediation efforts, either party may submit the dispute to the competent courts in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Modifications to Terms
Hekma Academy reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time:
- The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
- Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 15 days before taking effect.
- A prominent notice may be displayed on the Platform for a reasonable period following significant updates.
- Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
- If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
16. Sever-ability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Exchange Policy, and Shipping & Service Duration Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hekma Academy regarding your use of the Platform. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the same subject matter.
